We designed and installed this monument for CCL along with blade style street signs for all the street corners of the Keith's Brewery Market downtown Halifax.
The monument was fabricated in our shop from concrete, stone and brass and transported to site as a landmark.
The Lunenburg Foundary cast the brass plaques for us, which were mounted and mortared in place.
Over the years many of the street signs were removed from the light posts by drunken treasure hunters.
The monument was moved from its original location to allow for an addition to be made to the building. The monument was damaged by moving it with an excavator. If the contractor had called us, we would have told them the location of the hidden lifting ring we purposely built in to the top.
